Free Condensation & Mould Awareness Workshop

One in five homes in the UK suffers from condensation and mould problems, at EnviroVent we know how much of an impact these problems have on our social housing clients. We also appreciate that during the summer months, condensation and mould related problems ease off, only to return again as cold wet weather returns!

With over thirty years’ experience, EnviroVent are highly specialised in solving condensation-related problems in the social housing sector and we work with over 500 Registered Providers involved in both large refurbishment programmes and responsive repair and maintenance work.

Our condensation and mould awareness workshop covers the following useful topics:
 
·         An in-depth explanation of how condensation and mould occurs
·         The social, health and economic effects
·         The differences between damp and mould and how to spot them
·         The long-term environmental solutions

The workshop provides an insightful overview to the problems and solutions and is useful for providing training to new, less experienced staff as well as providing a refresher session for more experienced surveyors. We encourage attendees to bring examples of recent cases/surveys to discuss during the session.

The condensation and mould workshop usually lasts approximately an hour and a half. We will cover the costs of lunch for attendees and can answer any questions or queries you may have regarding condensation and mould issues in your housing stock. Alternatively, we can do a morning and an afternoon session to accommodate two groups.
