We selected MoreTrees as our tree planting partner to help us achieve our offsetting target because they support local communities and pay people a fair wage. They also use non-profit partners to plant trees and manage them for life.
We’ve partnered with MoreTrees to make this happen. It’s all part of our ongoing planet-friendly programme which, in 10 years’ time, could completely offset our carbon emissions.
We kicked off our new initiative by planting 1,000 trees which immediately offsets 300 tonnes of CO2. Every year we’re aiming to plant another 5,000 trees which will remove approximately 1,500 tonnes of CO2 from the atmosphere.
Our Lifetime Range® is a dedicated range of environmentally-friendly ventilation systems with ultra-low watt motors, engineered with sustainable components that are designed to outlast the property they are installed in and be incredibly energy efficient. We know there’s no quick fix to tackling global warming. Trees really are quite amazing. For example, did you know that just one mangrove tree offsets 0.3 tonnes of CO2 over its growth life. That’s the equivalent to the CO2 emissions from driving 732.9 miles in a standard car. Now can you imagine what even a small forest can do?
