EnviroVent’s New Distribution Centre Opens For Business

Over the last couple of years, EnviroVent has gone from strength to strength, our R&D team have developed numerous new innovations; and, as a result, we’ve grown at a rapid pace! So, to make sure that we keep on offering our customers a great service, we have acquired a new warehouse and despatch facility. The new distribution centre will provide the following:

• Space - to increase product lines
• The ability to keep on ‘responding to demand ‘quickly and efficiently
• A boost to the local economy through the creation of  new jobs 

What’s more, last month, we welcomed the Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, to officially open our new distribution centre. The official opening was a proud moment for all the team at EnviroVent, through our hard work and commitment we've put British manufacturing back on the map! We have new innovations in the pipeline, starting with a new heat recovery unit which will be launched in September.

The Intelligent MEV Spider

One of the innovations that will be despatched from the distribution centre is a new version of an old favourite - the MEV Spider. The MEV Spider is a low energy, continuous mechanical extract ventilation system with multiple extract points which simultaneously draw moisture-laden air out of the wet rooms (bathroom, kitchen etc) whilst minimising the migration of humidity to other areas of the home.

The new MEV Spider has been designed with easy push button commissioning to enabler the fitter to set the required airflow rate quickly, correctly and effectively. In addition to this ‘fitter friendly’ feature, the system also has Intelligent Humidity Tracking Controls that constantly monitor the humidity level in the home.

This means that no user intervention is necessary because as humidity levels rise through daily tasks such as bathing, cooking etc, the speed of the motor also rises and falls in direct correlation. Not only does this control condensation quietly and efficiently, it also cuts down the amount of time the unit operates on maximum speed, saving energy and money.

The MEV Spider can be installed on the floor, wall or ceiling either vertically or horizontally. It is ideal for houses, apartments and communal living, and it comes with a five year warranty.
