EnviroVent's SILENT Extract Fans Awarded Quiet Mark

EnviroVent’s stylish SILENT Design bathroom extract fan along with the innovative SILENT-MV inline fan have been awarded the Quiet Mark by the Noise Abatement Society.   Working  with  the  Government  over  the  last  50  years,  the  Noise  Abatement  Society  has  achieved  a  reputation   for  collaborative  partnerships  to  find  practical  solutions  to  noise  problems.  

The  launch  of  the  Quiet  Mark  sprang  from  the  response  to  public  complaints  received  by  the  Noise  Abatement   Society’s  helpline.     It  is  now  the  international  mark  of  approval,  providing world­wide  manufacturers   the   opportunity  to  deliver  their  products  for  testing  and  be  officially  recognized  for  their  quiet  noise  levels– a  symbol  of  excellence  for  quiet  design.  It  will  also  encourage  companies  in  the  development  of  noise  reduction within  the  design of  everyday  machines  and  appliances. Quiet  Mark  has  begun  the  search  for  a  selection  of  the  quietest  product  designs  from  around  the  world to  be validated  as  quieter  within  their  category  by  the accreditation  team  at  the  Association  of  Noise  Consultants. Two  of  these  products  are  the EnviroVent’s SILENT fans.  

These are  the  result  of  a  long  and  meticulous  development  process  by  the  company’s  Research  and  Development  team, bringing  about  a  revolutionary  change  in  extract  fan  design  to  extract  the  maximum  airflow  with  the  minimum  noise possible.

EnviroVent’s  Marketing  Director,  Rebecca  Marczak  explains. “These  SILENT  fans  have  been  designed  with  motors  that  are  mounted  onto  silent  elastic  blocks  which  absorb  the motors vibrations. Never  again  will  an  extract  fan  be  the  cause  of  sleepless  nights!”

The  quiet  mark  is  a  charity  led  initiative,  working  in  conjunction  with  industry,  to  creative  living  and  working environments  which  are  healthier  and  less  stressed.  By  controlling  the  excessive  noise  in  our  working  and  living space,  we  should  be  able  to  increase  our  productivity,  our  creativity  and  general  enjoyment.
