An NO² Filter For MVHR Systems To Reduce NO² Pollutants
According to WHO (World Health Organisation) around 7 million deaths are due to exposure from both outdoor and household air pollution. These are caused through exhaust engines, diesel engines, dust, sulphur dioxide and volatile organic compounds. As a result air pollution is getting worse and our air quality is at an all time low.
The growing concern around air pollution in our cities and urban areas has driven a demand to implement necessary mitigation measures to improve our indoor air quality (IAQ). The NitroBox NO² filter is an effective means of reducing high Nitrogen Dioxide (NO²) to an acceptable mean annual concentration level of 40µg/m3, which is predominantly produced by exhaust gases from diesel engines.
In addition to reducing NO² levels, the NitroBox’s active carbon filters also absorb Sulphur dioxide, hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen chloride, ammonia odours, volatile organic compounds and solvents.

High quality products for peace of mind, saving time, money and hassle.
Improves air quality and reduces asthma triggers.
In 2015, the European Environment Agency (EEA) estimated that 9,600 premature deaths in the United Kingdom were directly related to Nitrogen Dioxide (NO²) which is predominantly produced by exhaust gases from diesel cars.
The growing concern around air pollution in our towns and cities has driven a demand to implement necessary mitigation measures to improve our indoor air quality (IAQ).
The NitroBox NO² filter is an effective means of reducing high Nitrogen Dioxide (NO²) levels from entering the home by installing an NO² filter onto a heat recovery system to filter and reduce harmful levels of Nitrogen Dioxide.
In addition to reducing NO² levels, the NitroBox’s active carbon filters also absorb Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), Hydrogen Chloride (HCI), Ammonia (NH3), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and other common solvents.
